This post is not so much about my Vette as it is the miracle that I have one. Last Friday I celebrated 10 years of recovery from alcoholism. I am one of those guys that has been to court for more D.U.I.'s than some of the lawyers I hired. The last one cost me my license for five years. I am so glad that no one else got hurt by my selfish irresponsibility.
The fact that I am starting off my eleventh year of recovery driving a beautiful 96 LT4, is a demonstration that miracles really do happen. My life and everything in it today is a gift from a power greater than myself.

Hang in there. Glad you have been sober. My ex-boss only made it 10 years and crashed again. Ruined a second career, second marriage and probably any chance of a decent life.
As was said above - one day at a time.
