Default Need Corvette Factory Help

I'm going to the Corvette Factory in a couple weeks. Can anyone recommend a nice, clean hotel in the area to stay?

Thanks in advance

Supposedly, the Hampton Inn 2 exits down is really good. Have a great time and don't forget to tour the Corvette Museum literally right across the street from the Factory (you definitely can't miss seeing it from the road).

We stayed in the Baymont Inn. It's the same exit and very near the Hampton that LT4CompYell is talking about.

I stayed at the Sleep Inn at exit 22. Ask for the handicapped room and you get a huge tiled shower that is big enough for 2 (or more).
It was a very nice place with an indoor and outdoor pool and a great free hot breakfast with real scrambled eggs. Looks like it is brand new.
Edit: Be sure not to wear sandals to the tour. They won't let you in with open-toed shoes. Go a bit early so you can look at all the Corvette items in their waiting room. They have the actual Motor Trend Car of the year trophy and many, many other items on display. You can also buy Corvette night lights and other stuff they have for sale there.

Was just browsing the site but this thread got me thinking. . . . maybe I should git off my lazy retired butt and take a road trip in my 84. Hmmm?

The Country Hearth is on the same road that the Museum is on and only 1 mile as the crow flies to the Assembly Plant.

Exit 22 where everyone else is talking has all the restaurants.
