Hood Help Please
I have searched the forum but can't see anything to help me with my problem my hood releases just fine but the latch on the drivers side will not stay latched and when I hit a bump in the road the hood jumps up about a inch and rides that way untill I push it back down I have visually checked the latch mech. and it appears to be O.K. or at least no more wear than the one on the passager side which holds hood down just fine
Any ideas one adjustment or replacement of latch would be appreciated\

It sounds like the latch mechanism is not catching the driver's side hood pin. Open the hood and adjust the tension on the hood release cable.
There should be approx. 1/4 of an inch of space in the tiny "window" in the hood holder the latch mechanism swivels under.
