Default Odd but cool

I was cruising in the Vette yesterday when I got a thumbs up from a Mustang driver going in the other direction and I waved back, and before anyone says it no he wasn't telling me I was number one it was definitley his thumb . Who knows maybe he also has a Vette I know a couple of guys that have both. Heck I appreciate a nicely done Mustang myself I might even own one someday along with the Vette of course but I don't think I would wave at one while I was in my Vette.

I rented a bright orange 07 Mustang vert from Hertz this weekend. It was the coolest thing they had at the airport.
I waved at about 3 Corvettes and 2 of them returned the salute. Interesting to note that the 2 Mustangs I waved at ignored me as if I wasn't there!

Way too many Mustangs on the road for the wave to make any sense. I know a lot of folks love them, but except for a few special models they really are just another car. I suspect ricers don't wave either -- just plastic surgery on very common vehicles...........

Way too many Mustangs on the road for the wave to make any sense. You probably would wind up with a repetitive motion injury.

MEANT TO EDIT AND WOUND UP WITH DUPE -- SORRY

had an 85 stang LX Vert, burnt orange w/red leather interior and a 94 F-bird with camel leather interior and t-tops. Both were V-6 auto and great fun to drive and both got lots of attention from other motorist. Got rid of them and bought my 94 polo green LT1 coupe and the waves and grins from others far out weigh any experience from the stang or F-bird. Just ain't no darn comparison

Was sitting at a stop light yesterday when a very nicely done older 'stang pulled up next to me.
Guy was checkin' out the ride and said "man......that is saaweeet, wish my wife would let me get one!" Made me feel giddy all over. I said thanks as the light turned green and made my right turn as we waved at each other.
He definately was a guy that could admire nice cars of all makes........I can appreciate that.

I would love to have an 88-93 mustang 5.0 notchback again. Hard to find in good condition, but when you do they are awesome. That's my favorite year and body style at least...all other styles those years are junk IMO. Not too impressed with later model mustangs. Those Cobras are crazy fast though. And you have to admit mustangs have the best exhaust tone.

Not all Mustang owners are a-holes, just a lot of them. I've seen a few vette drivers who were a-holes too but its rare.

When I'm in the vette, I get waves from all kinds of cars.

I wave at Corvettes regardless of what I’m driving, even when I’m in my Comcast Van, I wave.

Heck, most of the times they don’t wave back, even if I’m driving my Corvette. Go figure…

Save the wave.

My first hot rod was a stang.

I bought a junker and made her pretty.

I put every mod u can think from heads to a super charger.

I then sold it to buy my 01 vette

I then sold my vette to buy a condo.

Now I have a slow, all stock 85 c4, but i love it.

A mechanic once said that mustangs are for boys , and corvettes are for men,

Either was I appreciate all nice cars, but do love vettes, probably like the guy who waved.

I always give the wave, even when I drive the mustang or the wifes focus. I figure they will know.
