Take your door panel off, if you haven't done that before. Take your time, and if it is sticking... look very close for a screw. A lot of people have broken theirs by not seeing some of the screws. Then roll your window down all the way. From there you should be able to reach the 2 bolts that hold it on
If it's just the mirror in the housing, there are two "pins" that pop into holes on the back side of the mirror and a center x piece that pops into place on yhr back.
If its just the glass itself that is loose it likely to be a broken trunion between the mirror and the mirror positioner. Just go to any self serve junkyard and find a late 80s Camaro with broken mirrors. They seem to use the same trunion.
Remove the old one, snap in the new one into the positioner then place the mirror over the other side of the trunion and push inwards. it should snap into place and the mirror will be secure.
While the mirror is off the car you may want to tighten up the positioner mounts as well. It takes very little time once the mirror is out of the way.
