Targa Top Replacements ? HELP !!!
Hello all. Well I had an interesting conversation today with the manager of the autobody shop concerning my damaged Targa top. It seems that General Motors has this item backordered and they have no idea when they will get one in. He has contacted my insurance compan ( who is paying for it ) and they advised him to procure one from a secondary source if it conforms to original factory specs. My question to the forum is this.
Who makes the best aftermarket Targa Top. The manager told me just now he will buy from whatever company that has it if I agree with it so, does anyone have experience in buying these from someone other than GM? If so please let me know ASAP as mine has a huge crack in it.

Shocked Mojo hasn't jumped on this one. All the primary aftermarket suppliers have them. Additionally there are two suppliers who deal in tops and associated parts. Melrose and Astrotops. Many( read that most) forum members have had less than satisfactory dealings with Astrotops. I am not in that group. 99.9% would say Melrose. If you do a search I am sure you will find a link.
