The Black Book says that the 1993 Corvette was the first GM vehicle sold with keyless entry.
My 92 had a neat Viper alarm and keyless entry when I bought it last year. It beeped and unlocked the doors and opened the hatch. But it was wired wrong and almost burned the car up! That cost me $703 to have it removed and repaired.
I just asked the dealer how much to add a keyless entry. The quote was $160.
