I have a 95 coupe and i seemed to have picked up some nasty squeaks. I recent did all new weatherstripping (top, doors, and hatch). I noticed that the car squeaks a bit more when then top is on. Must be the rubber being stiffer. The focus of the squeaks is come from the doors near the latch. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks everyone.
Don't look for the obvious. I just spent a bunch of time, WD40 and grease trying to get my drivers door to quit creaking when opening and closing. Nothing worked and in fact it got worse when I moved the door slower to try and figure out which hindge it was. Then (duh) I realized it wasn't the hindges at all, it was the leading edge of the door rubbing on the fender panel that covers the battery. I loosened up the upper screw and adjusted the panel, voila! Creaks and squeaks gone. It may return but at least I know where the problem is.

Silicon on the top WS helps with the top...about it. Could these "squeaks" at all be related to the anti-rattle clips in the door? there is also a slight rattle.
