Default Oil Pressure

What's everyones oil pressure look like at idle. I've got an L98 and mine is only around 20psi and seems kind of low. It goes up on acceleration but I thought I'd ask.

I just replaced my oil sensor because it read 80 all the time. Now, 15 at idle and about 45 while driving. Car has 145,000 and is a 1985. I am not sure what the pressure is suppose to be.

Your oil pressure is fine. Drive it and enjoy!

My factory digital gauge reads in the 50's at idle. The Autometer mechanical gauge I have reads 12 at Idle. The mechanical gauge is correct! You are fine at 20 PSI A good rule of thumb is 10 PSI for every 1000 RPM.

Lately because of the heat out here, mine idles at about 14psi. As soon as I get going it jumps up to 30+.

That sounds about like mine. I'm wondering if I shouldn't go to a heavier oil?
