Reverse Lights not working
My newly purchased 94 with manual transmission. Backup lights not working. Bulbs look ok. Where should I start looking?

Take a look at the reverse switch on the tranny.

That would be the second thing I'd look at.
This first would be the fuse. (some people pull that fuse to kill the CAGS, but it also kills the backup lights)

Which fuse controls the CAGS?
Which fuse controls the CAGS? There is nothing listed on the fuse panel or the manual. There is a fuse for back up but it's ok.

Swapping out the reverse switch on the trans fixed mine.

You can test the reverse switch to prove if it is ok instead of replacing it automatically.

Do you know the procedure to test the switch?

Unplug the switch and jump the socket, with the ign on, your backup lights should be on. Measure the resistance of the switch while unplugged and with the shifter in reverse. It should be the same resistance as touching the ohmeter probes together, that is, essentially zero ohms.
