How much movement do you guys have if you push down on the hood where the latches are? I have some movement show i have none?

I had lots when I first got the car. It's an easy fix. Loosen the big retainer around the pin on the hood. This will allow you to put a screwdriver in the end of the pin and turn it, it will screw in. The further in you screw the pin, the tighter the hood will close. If you go to far, it won't latch securely.

I had to do this on my 86. You should have no movememt when the hood is shut.
