I wonder if my headlight switch is malfunctioning. When I turn the switch quickly from off, thru the marker lights, and on to the headlights, the lights remain in the down position. However, if I go back to the off position, then slowly stop at each position, the lights work perfectly. (I have rebuilt motors)
Does anyone else have to flip the light switch slowly to get results? Does it sound like a switch problem?
After playing with the switch, I have noticed the switch will NEVER raise the headlights on the first try. They work very well after the second try, operating the switch slow, or fast doesn't really seem to make any difference.
Defective switch because each side has its own relay to open each side and the likelyhood of both relays being sluggish is the same as you winning the lottery tomorrow!
