Default Quick question, ned help about rims

I want to buy a rim off of ebay to replaced a right front one I damaged on a curb .

I was directed to this auction, but the rim if off a ZR-1. I have a stock 1996 LT-4.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/91-96...QQcmdZViewItem

Will this fit?

Sorry to be rushed but if it will fit I need to get a bid in .

Thanks.

Fast Doc.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure its the right offset for your car. It says the offset is 56mm.

Edit: Here is a quote for the tech faq.

"88-96 base
8.5"/2 - 56mm/25.4 = 2.05"
9.5"/2 - 56mm/25.4 = 2.55"
(also used for fronts on some models)"

According to this, the wheel should fit your car. Hope this helps.

Aren't the ZR-1 wheels wider?

Only the rear zr1 rims are wider, the fronts are the same as yours.

The fronts are 9.5" wide. What size are the tires on the front of the car now? If they are 275/40/17, then your front rims should be 9.5" wide.

Came with A-molds, but he's got sawblades. Stock wheel size on 96 were 8.5" unless you had Z51 then they should be 9.5's. You need to check to see what size you have.

That wheel on EBAY is a standard 91-92 wheel. It was also used on the front of the 91-92 ZR-1. The wheel you need has a machined center and painted turbines, and was used from 93-96 (assuming your avitor picture is the wheel you are looking for) and most likely 17x8.5. I guess if the guy calls it a ZR-1 wheel it's worth more money

I didn't catch that the first time through. It is indeed a 91-92 wheel (painted center machined lip). Have you checked the size of tires on your car yet? if they are the 275's more than likely when the previous owner changed them out to sawblades, he put 9.5's on all around. Or if they are 245's you probably have 8.5's in the front. If you take the wheel off it the size should be cast in back and say what size it is. Then you can start in earnest trying to locate a replacement.

Thanks for taking the time to respond guys.

My car came (to me) with the sawblades, not the proper CE wheels.

Maybe someday I'll upgrade to some nice chrome CE wheels, or...........

Save my money and get a C6 someday when the C7's come out.

One of our supporting vendors sells the repro ZR-1 in the correct silver for a CE for under $600 shipped. There are also a couple of outlets on EBAY that sell the same wheel (You can also get them chrome or polished). You may want to have your wheel refinished, usually $85-$130/wheel.
