cam again
ok cars in the shop still waiting .have not started yet, getting pissed.... so since i have no vette wondering what to expect from the cam .xe 268 will the sound be noticable or what? also has headers xpipe 40 series flows hi flow cats, 1.6 roller rockers. chip,edelbrock plenum and runners, and 3.54 . any thought on my set up aprox hp. but most of all the sound thanks. this is how bored i am.

with headers & exhaust work, 1.6RR's, mild intake upgrade and cam you'll probably eeke out about 40 possibly up to 50chp.
sound? you're more worried about the sound? why did you have performance upgrades done if its not about acceleration? i can't speak for that cam, its mild enough, but with headers/x-pipe/flo-hoe's you'll likely notice a mild lope and it will definitely be louder. you'll get off on it, no worries there. report back with that confirmation when its out of the shop
oh, and congratulations on getting something done under the hood. good job. christ knows, all our base C4's need engine work to to stay average in today's environment.
