I powdercoated mine myself. It was fairly easy to do, and the powdercoating kit I bought had everything I needed to do it. The hardest part of the whole project was cleaning the parts! (OK, getting the parts off and back on wasn't exactly easy either!)

I can't help you with where to have yours done, I never really checked into it much. If you decide to give it a try yourself, I can provide some tips.

You can remove, sand down and take to anywhere that does powercoating, or sand down and polish youself, or ck ebay, there's a guy there that does great work on complete polish TPI's and exchanges, think his name is Thrasher...

After hand polishing mine, I'd highly suggest paying a professional shop or getting them powdercoated.

I got mine done at a place called "Polishing Inc." They used to have a banner add on this site a few years ago. Their website no longer exists, so I don't know where they are at now. Then I started to use a local guy for the rest of the parts, so I would not have to wait for things in the mail.

Hi, Mike from Corvetteplenum.com here. Doing it yourself is a pain. My guy, Rick Thrasher is the guy you want. Email him: RLThrasher@aol.com I used to offer a polishing service to go with my porting but it was too much work. I sub my stuff out to Rick. He's great. Stunning work and the price is right on. Email him for pictures of his work and pricing. He also does powdercoating. Tell him I sent you. You will be happy with his work, Trust me.

Ps. Check me out if you want any additional horse power out of your TPI-Mike
