I always loved the early C4 wheels. Particulary the 84-85's with the dark centers....they really stood out. My 87 OEM wheels...I had them Chrome plated....I think they look awesome. Only complaint I have is with the whole wheel chromed...center caps & lugs ...at a distance you loose the design of the wheel....they look like flat baby moons.
The late model C4 sawblades are nice. Trouble with the 88-90 wheels are the cost of replacing the center caps...big bucks.....GM is smoking dope along with Eckler..Corvette Central etc for new center caps .
I prefer the sawblades over the 5 spoke ZR-1 style wheels only because there are so many cars with various 5 spoke wheel configurations. The sawblades are more unique and specifically designed for the corvette.

It's only 88 and 89 that have the monster center caps, 90 is small and less expensive!
Depends on which C4, on a late C4 I like the Grandsport wheels on some colors, others look better with the ZR1 rim either chrome or polished. First thing I did to mine was get rid of the sawblades.
