It seems that when ever I check the oil it is low and I have to add some.
This is all recent.
The motor is clean, no fluid, If i park my car there is nothing under neath. If I drive it there is no smoke. When I start it there is no smoke. When I drive it there is no oil on the ground.
There is no oil mixing with the radiator fluid.
The car is great, runs great, it just seems like it needs oil.
This is a new problem and I am monitoring it. Im going to change the oil make sure its full after a start, and see what happens.
it probably just passing a bit of oil through the valve seal, not a big deal. you could just replace them its not that hard over time they just dry out and get brittle common on a sbc. its not like your going through a 1 ltr of oil a week is it?

I had a 97 Dodge Ram p/u that needed a quart added at 3,000 miles. No big deal as long as you check it regularly.
But how can it pass some where, and not show up some where ?
trust me it smokes a bit you probably don't see it ,it happens when you fire it up or when you get into the throttle hard and especially when you let off it blows out a puff of smoke .its not like its going to smoke like Mr bucks car .if you where to strap it on the dyno and stand behind it you would see what i mean ,the cars not moving so you see how much it really smokes.nothing serious is wrong with it ,just needs valve seals.

How many miles? And due to it's age alone valve seals are a definite possibility. If there are a lot of miles, the guides may be worn enough that new seals may not help for long though. Time to start planning that stroker.
