convertibles

whats wrong?
i went to put the top down and i pulled the thing to unhook the top from the car and only the driver side would unhook the passangers i guess is stuck andbody have that problem or know whats wrong?

The cable is likely stretched. You can look under there and confirm the problem. You can also just grab the latch on the stuck side and turn it to release the top.

If it is not releasing from the rear deck it may be getting caught up because your top is getting old, they tend to shrink with age. It may be time for a new top. Just a thought.

If it is still stuck, release the front hooks and rock it like you are putting the top down. This will release some of the pressure on the pins and they should release. Also you may have to pull the cable release while rocking the top. good luck

I don't understand what you are asking ? I think your weather strip is glued to the top and it will not release. on the passenger side front of the top.
