Best Headlights For C4 Corvette?
http://www.talbotco.com/cibie_main_frameset.htm
The conversions I have used, (round quad head lamp, and 7" round) had excellent cut off, and were very bright. I have factory Xenons in my Mini Cooper S, and they are the best lights I have ever seen. I haven't seen any Xenon conversion at a good price for the C4. Also, be aware that you will be putting some extra strain on your electrical system - especially when you need it the most!
I am about to order some soon, as my sealed beans are so dull as to make me think they are from Lucas!

Hi, Mark. The Cibie units ($62/ea) are indeed the best, and -- as long as
you aim them correctly -- they are _LESS_ blinding to oncoming traffic
than the lamps you have now, because their focus is much more precise.
Light is directed where you need it to see, and not sprayed upward into
other drivers' eyes. If you'll be staying with stock wiring, you have to
stick with stock-wattage bulbs, in which case use the best ones, the Narva
Rangepower+50 items ($17/ea). If you are willing to upgrade the wiring per
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...ys/relays.html (parts kit
$49), you can increase the bulb wattage for an even larger improvement in
seeing. Recommend in that case the Osram ultra high efficacy 85/80w bulbs,
$20/ea. Whichever bulbs you use, the lamps have to be aimed carefully per
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.html .
Can also make your brake and rear turn signal lamps 40% brighter for
$6.10/bulb, your reversing/backup lamps 100% brighter for $7.20/bulb, and
your front and rear sidemarker lights 60% brighter for $3.98/bulb.

"Cystal" is "Crystal" miss-spelled. Somebody correct me on how I can do better install/result wise (Yes. I know it's Ebay. I'm using it as starting point.). I'm not looking for cheap. I want good results.
Do you use the 100/90's on all four headlights or just the high beams? Will a C4 power this much wattage?
Thanks, guys

Stay away from any h4 conversion that says "diamond cut" or "crystal." If you don't want to spend a lot check out the autopal e codes on eBay. Similar to Hella at 1/4 the price. They don't fit snuggly in the metal trim ring so you would need a rubber gasket to or weather stripping to make them fit snug. This is the route I went.
The next best housing will be Hella or Bosch. Bosches are hard to find, and Hella you can hardly tell apart from the Autopal e codes.
The best possible housing you can buy are the Cibies from Daniel Stern. They run about 150 for a pair.
For bulbs any name brand is good. Don't use any bulbs with tinted glass like silverstars or anything that says "cool blue". They're junk and actually don't put out as much light due to the tinted color on the bulbs.
The very best bulbs for the money are Philips xtreme power +80. They are on Amazon for $40 a pair. The Hella 80/100 bulbs are brighter, but they won't last nearly as long as the German built Philips bulbs and you will be pushing the stock wiring to the max.
Whatever you do, pick a quality e code housing and a high quality bulb. Do not put a cheap HID conversion into a halogen housing. Not very much usuable light, and not too safe either.
