Note at the top of the page you see the keywords entered. The search function takes a bit of playing with to get the info you need. Maybe Vinnie will break loose with those 30 links...

Thanks for the links. I was looking at MidAmerica and they sell a can of plastic prep for painting trim. Will this be good enough to have the piece clean enough to paint? Ok, this is what I want to do. I want to make the trim around the sills and console sides to blend into the rest of the black trim in the car. They also sell a gloss and high gloss clear coat when you are done. Which of these do you think would best match the overhead trim, or do I not need that? Also, how can I keep the paint from rubbing? Does the clear coat serve this purpose also?
Well, I also need to know how to do it also. When I had the Trans Am, we tried to paint the interior panels, but they were new and we didnt think to prep them...they pilled.

On his advice I bought an 8oz can of Adhesive, Wax, & Mark remover at Pep Boys.... (Made by 3M) and wiped all the pieces down. If you use this, follow the directions.. "lightly rub area to be cleaned" and let dry completely. I then applied 3 light coats of Dupli-Color Bumper Coating. It went on great. I think it really looks good. I painted some of the Black console parts light grey/silver. It seems very durable. I've bumped the painted areas several times and no scratches or chips.. So Far!! ..I did this about 6 months ago and after several months of summer heat it still looks new.. I don’t want to post any pics till I'm completely done with the interior which should be in a couple weeks...

Also if your follow the search listing i posted, and mix up the search listings, such as (interior parts, painting interior, painting, interior plastic, plastic painting, and the list goes on and on, but your find some and more each time, you just need to go thru, again time is your best friend.... good luck
Anyway, I had good luck when I repainted my interior pieces a few years ago (scroll about 2/3 of the way down if you want to see before and after pics).
