I have a 1996 CE vert with about 67k miles on it. I want to get a new car and I am considering trading it in. What would a dealer give me for it in trade? I dont have access to NADA value guide. Is KBB accurate for trade in value. It has soft top & hardtop, but I would probably trade it without the hardtop and sell that seperately.
Car looks real nice, interior very clean. Paint nice. New tires about 7k miles ago. Overall a nice driver, not a showpiece. Oh, it does not have PKE transmitters, that is how I bought the car.
What could I reasonably expect to get if I sold it privately
LT1 or LT4 either way don't trade it in. I would post on C4 for sale or look on there to get an idea on priceing. The LT4 would bring more,KKB gets you in the ballpark but not in touch with options like the LT4 or vert hard top ect. [LOW] good Luck Tim
That is probably for a trade in on a new car at list price. Not much to be gained when you trade in. You are much better off selling the Vette on your own and then you'll have more bargining power at the dealership. They make lots of money on trade ins, not you.
