Last night leaving the car show with my 84,I turned on my headlights and the dash and all the lights started flickering. ....Not [the horse FLICKER]. ..... blinking off an on,just a slight flicker.....[This FLICKER is not my friend]....About half way home,a couple of miles and they seemed to stop.... Anyone ever have this phe-non-a-mom happen to them?
This began happening to mine some time ago, there are several areas to look into, loose ground, corroded connections, or the headlight switch, and the adjacent dash light adjustment. Mine required cleaning, also I need additional bulbs as my tach lights are out. Do you have a factory service manual if not order one from e-bay?

Hope this helps
Thanks....I was thinking along those lines...I already replaced the switch some time ago.....I will do a good ground check, more often than not,Vettes lose their grounds for no reason other than age....I took apart the harness that controls the throttle bodies, and I found it to be wrapped in DUCT tape from the factory, and it was full of a white powder from the old dried tape, and thats where the ground was lost in that instance...This might be the same thing.....Thanks again
