Jacking UP the C4?

Alright, does anyone know where I can get a cheap jack low enough to jack up my Corvette for oil changes and whatnot? I've seen ones at Walmart/Target for around $20, but I'm not sure if they're low enough.
Also, what's the easiest way to jack it up....I've heard some people jack from the rear rather then up front.

Well, this is what I do. I made a set of ramps out of 6 x 6's to change the oil. When I need to jack the front end up, I run it up the ramps and jack it up from there. Jacking up from the rear end is easy.

My Craftsman jack is plenty low enough, even with a 1" piece of rubber on top.

If the jack isn't low enough just drive the car up on a couple peices of wood first. :) Should give you the 1" or so you need.
