injector replacement
Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the fuel rail/injector assembly without removing the runners off the intake on a 91 L-98? 
These runners don't have any clearance. Any help would be appreciated. I'm in the middle of the job! Thanks!

Riz: Not to be a butt, but, this has been asked and answered a bunch of times, and just recent...
If you use the Search, Advance, Archive posts you should get your answer, + a bunch of info more,
but yes you can w/o removing the runners...pull top, loosen all bolts on the bottom for the runners, and work it out...

I never installed injectors, but I know what you mean. Those lower bolts on the runners look impossible to get back in.

Do a search on Sam Lam, forum member, he has a great writeup on how to do it. I used it w/ great success.

I didn't have much luck removing the fuel rail and not the runners. I had to remove the passenger side runner to wiggle the rail out. It's not much more work to remove the runners and it allows for a lot more room.
