tailight blinker problem

tailight blinker problem

I have a 95 convertible, that I took out to woodward Sat night, and I noticed when I turned my right hand turn signal on, instead of the little green arrow blinking, it was just on solid, and no clicking noise. I got out, and looked at the rear fascia, and it wasnt blinking either, and when the turn signal was turned off, and the running lights were on, the far right taillamp was dimmer than the rest, but not burned out. Does anyone have a clue if this could just be a bulb, or something more serious???

Check all the lights - I've got a front parking light out and it stopped the blinker.

i had the same happen... question for ya, did the green arrow come on when you turned on the lights? my 84 does that, and i had a front turn signal out

If it isnt the lights or the relay.. then its your turn signal switch inside the column.

It actually sounds like a poor ground circuit on the right rear taillight. Do the simple thing first, change the bulb and clean the socket, it could be just that simple and easy.
