1990 headlights
Last evening when returning home at dusk, I turned on the headlights and they both rotated to full open and were on. As I drove on I hit a slight bump and one of them partially closed but remained on. I turned the lights of an turned them on again and both opened and were on and then one of them again partially closed. When I returned home I cycled the lights and both came up to full open, but when I applied a slight pressure to one, it partially closed in the same manner as when I was driving. Cause? Fix?

Sounds like your Delrin headlight motor bushings have gone ****-up. They slowly turn to powder over a decade or so, resulting in the problem you're experiencing.
The fix? Order the replacement bushings online from Mid-America Motorworks (MAM) and run a search here under "headlight motor bushings" while you wait for them to arrive.
