I once parted a 69 Chevelle. NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!
I still have parts lying in my basement from 20 years ago!
I made money at it, but it's certainly not worth the effort.
Yeah, I agree. I bought a parts car once pretty cheap with the intention of parting it out. Whew! What a hassle. People can be sooooo flakey, then some want their money back and threaten to sue you. I ended up towing most of it to the junkyard, big loss on my oart. Sorry for your loss, glad you're OK. Take your settlement and start shopping.

But now that I see the pics, I would buy it back and part it out. the interior all looks good (from what can be seen) the seats alone have got to be worth around $300 each, air bags, OEM stereo, carpet, etc... along with the other items mentioned..
of course it all depends on how much available time you have.
From: Hampton, VA Yea, i'm a redneck... but you love it

You can make a profit with just the hood and seats alone. also, that looks to be about 5k worth of damage if the frame isn't bent. Think ins. would repair it? It looks to me like the read bumper and 1/4 panel is all of the body that needs replaced. And the on;y reason the door won't open is the 1/4 panel is knocked into it
