Flex-Braid Kit

I received a flex-braid kit as a present that look like they sleeve over the original vacuum, fuel, heater, and upper radiator hoses? Anyone have these installed? Thoughts before I put them on?

I had them on a F-Body once. Look OK but not like the real McCoy. My biggest complaint was they seemed to tarnish. Maybe they were dirty and I didn't clean them correctly.

I agree. I bought a kit once and it ended up in the trash.

I was thinking about buying that exact set. Glad you all gave your honest opinion. I think I'll spend my $49 on something else

Thanks everyone for input...yeah I think the person had great intentions....actually pretty creative/thoughtful gift for a non-corvette owner, but think I'll enjoy my engine bay as is...
