Curious about the temperture...
I'm curious, about what is the under hood temperture on a 25 mile drive at over 90 degrees of outside templ.
I'll be using a digital thermometer with a 10' wire extension sensor. I'll put the senson near the alternator and monitor it from my dash.
I'll get back to this post with the results when I get home after 6:00pm.

I've learned there are a lot of variations in temp under the hood depending on where you put the sensor and mods to airflow. 156* sounds about right depending on how high the sensor is located. I've been logging about 150* near the alternator (front, outside). Up near the nose I get 130ish.
