Can anyone help please.
Due to UK rules I need the month that my C4 was made. It hasn't got the original motor.

I have tried several sites and only find the main details. Could I use part of the chassis number to find the engine number?

I'm not real well versed on this stuff, but have you checked your driver's door jam? There's all kinds of interesting information there, manuf #'s, dates, originations, etc... Good luck.

The VIN has no information on build date. The sticker on the drivers door will have the build month and year. If you need exact date you can go here https://store.corvettemuseum.com/ser...buildsheet.asp
and purchase the information for a couple bucks. If you're in the UK can't you just make up a date?? How are they going to check? And if they can actually check... have them give you the info...

All I needed was my memory prompting, of course, I remember it was February '86. Silly me
If you think the inside is bad, outside
