Default Low Tire Warning System

I tried to find an answer to this using the search feature. I could not find an answer to it.

One of my Low Tire sensors packed it in. I have since taken them out and am not putting them back in. Is there a way to disable the feature so that the warning light does not come on in the driver information center? I have read where some have just taken the bulb out. I know that you can dissable the FX3 system, so just wondering if the same can be done for the Low Tire system. Thanks in advance for any information you are able to provide.

Sorry, I took the bulb out! I tend to take the path of least resistance when it envolves schematics and wiring diagrams.

Isn't there a fuse for that useless option? I can't remember without checking. I know i have at least 2 of them pulled in my box heh.

I've never pulled my bulb and my sensors were removed LONG ago... thats why I am thinking theres a fuse for it?

Dang I need to take a pic of my fuse box and put it up on the net so I can reference these thigs better LOL

There is a fuse you can pull. On my 1990, that fuse is also for the CCM and the vanity mirror (at least according to the manual).
When I had my dash apart to pull the Bose for repair, I just took the bulb out.
Others have suggested using a piece of electrical tape and/or purchasing one of those plates that go over the information panel to cover the light.

We're all a bunch of chicken----'s aren't we? "Just pull the bulb, pull the fuse", heaven forbid we actually find the problem and solve it. Don't ya love it? As a Vette owner, if you do things by the book and don't find shortcuts, you'll end up playin cards with matchsticks in a room full of other guys, much like yourself, waiting for 6:00 meds time.

The fuse, # 32 on 95, will take out the LTPWS & also takes out the cruise control. If you can live without the cruise your all set.
