I power wash the motors in both my corvettes and daily drivers with my 2000psi sprayer every summer. NO PROBLEMS EVER. In fact, when I got the 91 I think I had to power spray it about 4 times in a row to get the crap off of it. Wiith degreaser and other chemicals.

The suspension comes out very

I steam clean mine periodically...I just make sure to cover the opti area real well first.
Never had any problems and my engine/suspension always look great.

Beautiful work.

I can't take it that far, because if I get it that perfect, my OCD will kick in and I won't want to drive it, and I lose the true value of having the car, driving it.

Still, I admire the work and would hire you to do mine once a year...

Took my '84 to the car wash and sprayed it down.

Understand if some of the sensors are on their last leg, you may expose a weakness. But Hey, you found out what was about to break anyway.

You shouldn't be spraying a distributer in any car much less the Opti.

But all the metal parts, even the Alternator should hold up to moisture.....it's not like they don't get wet when it rains.
