The Wave........
Man I was driving yesterday and 2 C6s passed and didnt even wave.....lol, jk. This isnt a thread complaining about owners not waving, but I actually had 2 C6 guys wave to me today. Actually, the first C6s that have ever waved. I was really glad that they waved. I started thinking those guys were jerks for never waving....but now Im reassured not everyone willing to spend $80+k is just doing it for the name. These were real Corvette guys, not just posers.

I'm an aggressive waver, I wave to every vette I see, if I don't get one back I figure it is because they're so engrossed with how much fun they're having with their corvette. When I get a wave back, it feels good. I don't see any reason to bellyache about not getting a wave back from a particular type of 'vette or not. 
I get enough honks and waves and hoots from other types of vehicles to make up for it.

Other than this forum...where people are very helpful....the corvette community isn't very tight. I ride a chopper....believe me....the low wave is alive and well. I would also stop to help a brother biker in a heartbeat. Corvette owners..in general...would'nt stop to avoid hitting an animal...forget about helping another vette owner. It's everyman for him or herself. It's just like the clothes theysell to corvette owners in all these mags....gay...to say the least. Nothing even remotely cool out there. The gathering at carlyle (spell check) is just to soft to be any fun. Let me think ...Sturgis or Carlyle....hhhhmmmmm So poster, wave if ya want to. ....if you pass me...I'll wave back...some people are just too old to have fun.....

Now that I have my Jeep, I feel like Miss America waving at every damn person on the road. The other day, I accidentally waved at a Vette while driving my Jeep. I'm becoming so confused that I'm afraid I'm gonna cause an accident. My therapist tells me that I didn't get waved to enough as a child and I'm seeking out hobbies and relationships that will reep many waves as a reward. I told he she was crazy as I waved goodbye to her.
