my new wheels & tires came yesterday for my 92

when to put them on, 1st lug nut striped any

ideals how to get it off

thanks (oh c-5 wheels by the way)

Tape up the area well. Then centerpunch the lug and start drilling. Use a small bit and keep increasing it in size until you drill enough of the center out to allow the lug nut to wiggle off.

I had that happen on one and I kept turning it off witch stripped the lug nut stud. After the nut was off (you might get enough space to saw the stud off by moving the wheel forward) I just got a new stud at NAPA. They are easy to replace and cheap.

Just bang a smallet socket on.

Or the tool in this pic will get it off.

I ued this tool to get off locking lugs ...
