How many gallons is the gas tank on a 1993? Reason for asking, went to get gas today it show one bar over half, and it took 14 gallons to top it off>? I wouldnt have thought it would hold that much, when showing a hair over half?!

I really think gas gages (sp) are "top heavy" for lack of a better word. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's a psychological ploy to make you think you are getting better mileage than you are. Most cars seem to be this way.
Ever notice it takes a hell of a lot longer to go from full to 1/2, than it does from 1/2 to reserve?

That's a big part of the problem. Another factor (although not a lot) is that in hot weather gas, like all liquids, expands. So there is less gas in a gallon when it's 90 degrees than when it's 40.
