Problems with sunvisor replacement 95 coupe

I just received two new GM oe lighted sunvisors. The problem is they look slightly different than the ones I am taking out (airbag labels are different). But when I went to install them they fit ok but the nut that holds the visors on doesnt fit the new visors...the thread pattern is different (they are NOT stripped they thread just fine on the old ones). I would think if GM changed this they would include the new nuts to go along with the new visors..has anyone else had this trouble? The dealer says I have the correct parts!

OE or "GM Certified"? I believe the GM Certified ones are made to fit the entire 4th generation of vettes. Isn't it just a flared nut? I'd visit Home Depot and look for a match.
