I've read the Helms (C4 & F-body) & checked on-line, so now I need to go to the highest authority...This Forum.
Can someone briefly explain the function of:
1. Clutch Position Switch
2. Clutch Anticipate Switch
I know one of these is basically to lock-out the starter motor (clutch has to be depressed to engage the starter). Which one is which and what does the other do..?
I believe the clutch position switch is for the starting. The anticipation switch would be the one that deactivates the cruise control.
Ive noticed if you just barely tap the clutch pedal the cruise control will deactivate but to start it you have to fully press the clutch.
well thats my logical deduction. could be wrong though!
I am curious as to where the starter switch is for the clutch.. mine must have been disconnected before I bought it. I've never had to press the clutch in to start. Interestingly enough the CAGS was disconnected when I bought it too ( i know where that one is though)

Thanks to all for the replies. Does "CAGS" & anticipation switch mean the same thing..?
