I've been working on an intermittent headlight motor problem for the last couple of weeks and just noticed that when I switch the headlights on, they both rotate up and when halfway up I used to quickly turn the headlight switch to the parking lights so, the headlights would stop halfway up so, I could remove the headlight cover.
Today, I noticed when I switch the headlights on, they rotate up and when quickly switched to the parking lights the headlights won't park halfway up like they used to.
What would cause this? Is the headlight switch bad? Thank you.
I could but, that's not the problem, it's just something I noticed while trouble shooting the intermittent headlight motor problem and thought it could be something related.
I don't know if the 88-96 Vettes use headlight relays because the 88-96 headlight motors work off of a Control Module rather than the three relays the 84-87 Vettes use.
Update: I found in another thread I started that the 88-96 Vettes do not use any Relays for the headlight motors.
