Not sure what it is but everytime I back out or start to go forward I hear a sound which mimicks a tire rubbing the fender well..It only happens for a second.....It isn't rubbing, and I have checked all of the front end components for breakage or wear, not sure what else to look for at this point? any thoughts....94 2dr cp......

It is in the front drivers side only.
Noisy caliper? I had to replace the pins and go with GM pads as my caliper was floating too much. My pins were detented from reuse by the previous owner so the caliper tended to "float" more than normal. Also I had a noise simular to what your describing and I thought was coming from the front but it was that I needed more rear diff lubrcant for the POSI gearing. Only heard the noise when I first started off and turned left or right as from being backed into a parking space. Changed out the oil and added the diff lubrcant and no more noise. Just an idea of some other areas to check. Beyond you just put a new set of wheels on the car or C5 braking and now you hearing a rubbing.

Heres right you should look right at your DIC. The ABS light should flash for a second while you pull forward. That is normal and make a grrr grrr grruh noise. If thats the noise. Congrats ABS is working normally.
