Yet another wave thread...
Went home to Franklin, TN for the weekend and bought a Jeep there on Saturday.
Drove it back here to Memphis this afternoon and discovered that...Jeep people don't wave.
GENERALLY speaking, I'm convinced nobody waves anymore, 'cept maybe the Harley guys.

Hell, I've got dark tint all the way around on my car(including the windshield) so no one can even see my waves unless I'm driving with the windows down(which doesnt happen much during these 100 degree Florida summers) but I make sure to wave anyways, just in case for some freak reason the lighting is right and they can see me!
Unfortunately, Jacksonville is full of Corvettes(very common car here) and hardly anybody waves, most have never even heard of the Corvette salute, I tend to get some weird looks from time to time. But, I dont care, its an American tradition and I'm sure as hell gonna do my best to keep it going!

I always wave if they are going in the opposite direction... and usually they wave back.. I would never wave if I pulled up next to a vette or they pulled along side me..

First weekend i had the car seemed like i was getting a wave at every turn. Maybe it was just luck, or maybe it was just part of the initiation into the corvette family. After a while i wouldnt get waves, but lately i been waving to C6, C5, C5 Z06 and have always been gettin a wave back. Although ever since i bought the car i rarely see C4s now....

In da Vette I wave at other Vettes all the time. If I see a nice hot rod I wave. If I see a well restored domestic I wave. I never wave at imports ! At work I get to drive this once in a while --- and I WAVE --

I've got a C4 and a C6 and I always wave. Next time you don't get a return wave, consider it an opportunity to continue to drive the vette until you do!
