Default Driver's side inside door panel issue.

Is there a link that can show me step by step how to take the drivers inside door section off on my 95 corvette. The whole inside section is moving at the top, and the window moves as well. I'd like to take it apart and fix whatever is broken to get the inside door panel tight against the door's metal frame panel. The passenger side is nice and tight. I was told that this panel movement was a common problem on the C4. I did notice that there is a metal piece in an L shape nearest to the end of the inside metal door panel, above the handle that is cracked. It appears to be connected to the metal door frame by pop rivets. It moves and causes the inside door panel to move with it. Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Where can I get a replacement l shape piece to pop rivet back onm to the metal door frame?????

Ive had a few problems with my passenger door, not like yours but to take it off, just undue the two screws in the little tray and than there is one screw behind the inside door handle. Than there is the 4 or 5 pop screws at the bottom. Other than that i think thats it. Be careful of ther wirering from the power locks and windows, but i think it should come off, im sure if i missed something someone else will point it out.

To remove the drivers door panel:
Remove the two screws in the pull handle you use to shut the door.
Remove the one screw in the slide lock....pull foreward and pry out
the plastic slide. In back of that slide, there is a screw.
Remove the one screw in back of the D ring to open the door.
Remove the five plastic push screws at the bottom of the panel.
Lift and it comes off.

Everybody here needs to read this thread:

There is absolutely no reason you should be having sagging door problems any longer. It's an easy fix.

edit: There are also very detailed instructions for taking the panel off in that thread.
