I created a monster
My little brother, who's 29, is a skilled tradesman. He was never a car guy and either was I. I bought my 95 and turned into a car guy. I had not seen him for 10 months because he was in Wyoming making insane money wiring something to do with an oil company(I still don't know exactly what he did).
He's taking a couple months off and has NO bills at all. He tells me one night he wants to buy a sportscar. I, of course, tell him the Vette is the only sportscar. I've let him drive mine a couple times and he's hooked. He even told me he got into an argument with a good buddy of his who has a mustang. The mustang guy tells him "Don't get a vette, get a mustang, I don't see you being one of those guys who thinks they're better than everyone else." My brother told him "The Corvette is THE American sportscar. I'm getting one."
Good news is, he's getting a Vette. Bad news is, he's getting a C6. I fear all the relatives will not think I'm the stud anymore. Oh well, at least with that warranty he'll get, I can beat the hell out of it.

My brother was never a big car guy either, then I got into Vettes and got all wrapped up in them and he decided to follow suit. He started with a C4 and now he's all over the C5 forum as Will82 in his bad to the bone supercharged 02. So much for me being top dog in the family: /
