Default How much does the Callaway conversion cost????

450 supernatural conversion motor and body, I am guessing $15K. Am I close????

Will they still do C4s or do they only do new 'Vettes prior to purchase?

You could walk away with the Callaway body for $7,000 so that leaves $8,000 for motor work. I think you can get a Callaway body and maybe a Callaway fuel injector cover (second cover more) for a total of $15K:D.

I believe you can get the body for $7k uninstalled and get some motor work done for $8k. I'm not sure if $8k is enough for a 450 however. Maybe just a top end package:confused:.

I was under the impression that you had to get motor work before you were even eligible for the body kit.

Right, but I was under the impression you wanted to do it all at once. :)

... From the CALLAWAY website, you can download a catalog (although it is somewhat outdated) http://www.callawaycars.com the SuperNatural 400 (which is the one listed runs $13,365 then you can upgrade specs to current at $4190 It does not say what a SN450 runs but I am sure someone w/ one may post later for you...I just wanted to give you a ballpark figure on this... The catalog also offers suspension (C.O.I.L.) as well as brakes, wheels, and a clutch , ohh and an Aerobody which will set you back just shy of 10 large...
hope this helps,

Unfortunately, you need to multiply by at least x2... maybe 2.5 the way Callaway likes to find little extras that you need. I'm going to guess $35,000. You should ask Dave, 95Callaway, as he owns a SuperNatural 450 Aerobody. He's also got a nice website for his car-

Oh one more thing - That's just motor and body that I quoted as you asked. Not extras like HD clutch, brake upgrade, suspension, etc.

from trader's ads... 1993 CHEVROLET CORVETTE, CALLAWAY, CONVERTIBLE, 40th anniversary, ruby red, 450 hp, hard top, 6 speed, too much to list, $24000, (810)764-2569 WARREN , Michigan

It is already done however, I imagine it does NOT have an Aerobody...
enjoy, *89x2*

I always thought the full conversion was in the $70k range.

ZBRA.....

The 1st $15K will get you the motor installed. The 2nd $15K will almost get you the body kit installed & painted. If you want to torture yourself more, I'd recommend the single-mass flywheel & centerforce clutch (you will need it), the coil-over's, and the brake package - you'll have no problem adding another $10K to the other two items. The one option I have that I would not recommend is the high capacity radiator....... maybe it would help if you did some endurance racing, but for normal driving, it doesn't help a bit.......I try not to add-up everthing 'cause then I start thinking about the Viper that could have been

by this point, you could have sold your car, bought a new Z06 and you'd have a quicker car.....except for top-end speed.

If you have any q's, just let me know....
