its not vette related but very interesting
ealier this week, some guy at work found a SNAKE in his intake manifold :eek:
he brought the car to a mechanic cuz he smelled something funny
they tore the heads and intake off and low and behold there was a 4 foot snake inside
i'm not exactly sure where Mr. Snake was hiding, but what he descibed to me sounded like the intake manifold
this happened in a Dodge Dakota

When I worked at Dodge, an old man drove his V8 Dakota in because it was running rough.
I was the mechanic who got it, and found the injector wiring harness was chewed up, and I found a nest where a rat or squirrel was living there. This was a two year old truck with only 400 miles on it ( it had been sitting in the barn so it wouldn't get messed up :D ). The old guy was pissed to find out rodent damage was not covered by warentee...but I cut him a deal by replacing the bad wires from a spare harness. Overall, everyone got a big laugh out of it.
