My 95 Coupe with Sport Seats is having the normal drivers side wear problem - the Iggee's seem a pretty reasonable fix. Could anyone using these give me a report on them and any tricks to installing.
Thanks

I think you'll find the following links helpful in your consideration of Iggee seat covers. I've seen/installed them on 3 Vettes. Look great and install is easy. Everything Iggee advertises is what you get; easy to do business with.
Ernie --We got'em as a temp fix until we could afford more real leather. Looks really good. I have a 93 Coupe and the bottom part of the seat was a breeze to pop out in 30 seconds or less. The back of the seat is completely covered. Any pieces and parts are included for installation. I can send pictures later if you'd like on what they look like installed. If so email me at floydbolton@charter.net. It was worth the money and really a simple install even for a network administrator (not a mechanic).
I also have used them in 86 coupe---they look great and even the girls when they shipped to Canada put in $20.00 for duty!!!--Excellent deal and good customer service!!!
I love them, my wife hates them. They look good, but they make her sweat. Hope to replace them with real leather in a couple of years. They are great for a quick cheap fix.
A great answer to covering up the old and worn. I got mine in two tone and everyone likes the look. Easy to install and worth the money. Here are some before and after.
I have had mechanics think they were recovered seats.People don't believe they are just seat covers. They fit and don't move once in place. I recommend they highly.Takes about 15 minutes to install.
I went with Iggee's about six months ago and I love them. My first choice would have been real leather but I wanted a customized interior and didn't want to make those changes permanent. That being said, I've received nothing but complements on the seat covers. I was at a large vette show this weekend and many vette owners were interested in them.

How do you pull teh seat out of teh car if your seat motor is burned out? Also, should teh seat cover go on just teh seat cushion, or around the whole seat, rails and all?

Back upright of seat is covered totally front and back with the IGGEE cover. The bottom seat needs to be removed from frame to install bottom IGGEE cover, therefore you don't need to do anything with the burned out seat motor, air for the sport seats inflatable cushions etc.

OK, thanks for that, but how do I remove teh seat bottom?
Sorrry the links in my previous post didn't work. Try this one https://www.corvetteforum.com/techti...D=85&TopicID=2
In the 1st picture the guy is pointing at a wire loop in the middle of the seat bottom frame. Push the loop back and upward to get it to slip up/out and free of the frame. When the loop is thru the hole in the frame the seat cushion is free to be pulled up on front edge and forward from under the back upright cushion. Install Iggee cover on the cushion pulling it tight to secure evenly in the bottom center of the cushion. Then pull the back cover down over the cushion and seatback frame. Reinstall the seat bottom by sliding it back under the back seat cushion far enuff to slip the wire retainer thru the frame hole and push the front of the cushion into place so the the wire retainer snaps forward in the frame hole. You may need to guide it with your fingers to make sure it slips thru the frame hole and snaps forward to hold the cushion down and in place. Job should be finished...at least for that seat.
