LT-4 Exhaust
I'm looking for a picture of the LT-4 exhaust system.. I've heard it differs from the Lt1's in that it has a crossover and I'm wondering where the crossover is..

Dont the pipes converge inside the resonator? or do they run parallel through it??? it seems a crossover that far back in the exhaust system is useless.. wouldnt it be more effective in front of the x-over?

I can't tell if the pipes merge within the resonator or not-I would guess not since Chevy added the crossover after them but I don't know.
You are probably right as this is what the Corsa RSC system does-crossover in front of the separate resonators-neither are probably as effective as a true balance pipe-but that isn't possible due to packaging situation...

I looked at the stock pipes from a 95-96 LT1 automatic the other day, and it didn't have the little crossover. I wonder if it was only included on 6-speed cars to help reduce resonance.
