After reading Jimbomill's thread about the "leaking radiator and the egg" I realized there are quite a few emergency fixes out there. Here's a few of the fixes already mentioned...
1. Egg, nutmeg or black pepper to seal a radiator leak.
2. Coke on battery terminals to clean corrosion
3. Aspirin in battery to bring it back to life
4. Bar of soap on a gas tank to stop a small leak
5. Cuisinartvette said something about a banana and a piehole
Anybody else have any good ones we can all benefit from?
I used duct tape a lot on some other cars, havent needed it for the vette. JB Weld and a screw makes for a good repair if someone punctures your gas tank with a screw driver.

Holy Krap! Did you tork someone off or was someone being a dink?
I am surprised that nobody has mentioned the coat hanger for the radio antenea or for muffler hanger. How about the matchbook to shim up the old 8-track tape. I must be a redneck, because I could go on and on.
Keep a radial tire repair kit in the car. (plugs and scratching tool) Takes up no room, and gets you back on 4 real wheels when you get to an air compressor.
Keep a few tie wraps (or zip ties) in the car as well. they can be used for all sorts of things and are strong as hell.
Also, the soap trick works amazingly well. I've done this personally when off roading and punctured a tank in a truck. Sealed it right up all the way home.

Ahhh, the old 8-track hanging off the bottom of the dash, held up with 4 different sized sheetmetal screws, matchbook wedged under the tape, speaker wires stuffed up behind the dash wrapped up with electical tape. Those were the days
