Potential cold weather solution
Summers shot to $hit in most areas of the country. My desert environment is getting its first true rainy day in 5 months today. The thermometer is dropping, but I want to keep the top down

I also ride motorcycles (mostly, actually) and I have an electric vest that plugs into the battery or electrical system.
It keeps me very warm on the bike, even if the temp is in the high 30's. I won't ride if its any colder than that for fear of ice

I was thinking about rigging it up to plug into the CE's cigarette lighter and wearing it in the car.
Has anyone done this? Any thoughts? FWIW, it draws 30 watts.
