I researched the same question when I got my C4. I even e-mailed the manufacturer to ask them if they made them for a C4 and they said no. I almost looked into having one modified to fit, but that would be more money then I was willing to spend at the time. It is a shame that there isn't a spoiler of that design for the C4 since it complements the body lines so well.

Why put a spoiler on a C4? or any car that runs less than 150 or so on a regular basis.

On the other hand, if no one makes spoilers for C4s it looks like you have a business opportunity!

Why does it have to be on a "regular basis"? The cars capable of those speeds, give it a spoiler. It's a safety feature.

....geez, the cars may be capable of those speeds but, WHERE are you able to drive 150+ mph consistently on public roads that would necessitate the use of a spoiler for what you describe as "for safety purposes??"

I saw a C2 modified to the point where it didn't even look like a vette and it won best of show. Sorry it wasn't worth a digital picture, I guess I am a sore loser, But mine is a virgin.

I believe the closest stand-along wing is the GTO spoiler from Vanacor's...

http://www.vanacorvette.com/page8.htm

But you can do it cleaner. Look at http://www.acivette.com. Go to rear bumpers and look at the C4 rear bumper with integrated C5 lamps. It has an integrated lip (wing) as shown in the original post.

A C4 is not a show car spoiler or not. It's your car get some vertical doors to go with the spoiler and have a real eyesore when you're done.

it doesnt need a spoiler to look good, but i do liek the looks of it.

well 205 hp (if that) on a crossfire vette isnt really goin fast. yes i can mod it and i will but i cant afford to do a motor swap or stuff like that.

im already in the process of porting the manifold, cant afford crazy heads and people on here told me not to do a cam. so what else can i do to make it fast?

I had a 84 and it was fast enough on the street. If you want to compete with a Honda with mods and Nitrous on the strip and be as fast you have to do the same thing. ( I did see a Honda destoy itself trying to hit 100 in the quarter 2 weeks ago) The Vette is faster sitting still.

The question on this thread is:
do they make or can this spoiler fit on a c4?

I don't know the answerbut with enough money anything is possbile if you like it.

you gotta LOVE how there is always one that has to chime in and give there .02 cents on the looks of them.
The thread title is not "Do you like wings or not?"
But on the other hand it does allow you to see your name in print.....
