Default 96 GS LT4 Heating problems

Well the new owner of the car is having some heating problems. I didn't drive the car enough to find out any problems. 1125 miles on it
He mentioned at 235 degrees the check light comes on and does not hear the electric fans come on??? Which should kick in at 212 degrees. I didn't even know it had electric fans when I owned the car. Any C4 owners can enlighten the problem. Thanks for your help in advance.

My first thought would be to check the fuses for the fans. I have a stock '96 CE LT4 and it runs between 215 and 220 never at 235. I'm sure the good folks here will help you out but you can also try the Grand Sport Registry:

First, easiest check is to turn on the AC and fans should come on. If not start checking fuses, relays, etc. Is he reading analog or digital gauge?

With the ac on the fans should come on, with the ac off the primary fan should come on around 228* and the secondary around 235*.
